Why to Pay Attention to the Entrance of a House as per Vastu Shastra

Given that a plot has four sides, this leads to 32 potential main entrance placements. The suitability of a particular entrance location is influenced by the deity governing that area. The main entrance is crucial as it links the building and its occupants to the outside world. As the residents pass through it to carry out their daily activities, they seek success. Hence, the entrance should be strategically positioned to bring them prosperity and help them achieve their goals. When they return home, they expect peace and harmony, making the entrance’s placement key to creating a sense of balance and tranquility in their lives.

In this blog, we will discuss the role of a particular entrance as per Vastu in your home in facing all four main directions which are North, South, East, and West.

The facing of a house refers to the direction you are facing when you step out from the main entrance and look towards the road in front of you. A compass can be used to know this.

Now that we have seen how to know the facing, we will see how to mark 32 entrances as per Vastu.

The very first step to mark these 32 entrances as per Vastu is to locate the accurate center of the house on the house map. This step is crucial and should be done with care. From that centre determine the exact North with the help of a good and accurate compass. Draw a line from the center to the north point of your home. After that, create another line at an 11.25 degrees clockwise angle from the North, denoting it as N5. Continue drawing more lines from the center in a clockwise direction at 11.25 degrees each marking them as N6, N7, N8, then, E1, E2 up to E8 then S1, S2 up till S8, then W1, W2, up till W8, and then finally to N1, N2, N3, N4 and again till N5 where the circle of 360 degrees is complete. In the image below, the different deities are seen that belong to these 32 entrances, which we will discuss more in this blog.
